How same-day flower delivery works
It is simpler than it sounds, and every design on this page qualifies.
- Choose your flowers. Anything you see here can go out the same day.
- Enter the delivery address and pick today's date. Same-day delivery covers most postal codes we serve.
- Pick a window: anytime, morning or afternoon.
- Type your card message. We tuck it in with the flowers. Prices are never included.
- Place the order by 1 pm.
From there, your order is designed in our Oak Ridges studio and we deliver it that day. Flowers are seasonal, so if a particular stem is not at its best that morning, we swap it for one of equal or higher value in the same colours. The size and look of what you picked stay the same.

Same day flower delivery in Toronto
Toronto is the longest run from our studio, so a few things are worth knowing before you order.
Delivery fees are based on driving distance and start at $12, which means a downtown address costs more than one in Thornhill or Vaughan. The exact fee shows at checkout.
The 1 pm cutoff is the same for the city as anywhere else. If the timing is flexible, the anytime window is the easiest to work with on a heavy traffic day. If someone is only home in the morning, or only at the office in the afternoon, choose that window and say so in the notes.
Condos and office towers are where a delivery is most likely to stall, usually for want of a buzzer code or a phone number. The checklist further down this page covers what to include. More on delivering into the city is on our Toronto flower delivery page, and the full fee and area details are on our delivery page.
Picking flowers when they have to arrive today
When you are ordering in a hurry, it is tempting to grab the first thing you see. Thirty seconds of thought about where the flowers are going pays off.
Is anyone home with a vase? A wrapped bouquet needs to go into water fairly soon. If the person is at work, in hospital or simply run off their feet, choose something that can be set straight down. Ruby Square, pictured, is a neat black box with red roses in tidy rows and a frothy border of white baby's breath. It is compact and sits flat on a table, no vase required. Our vase arrangements arrive in water, which works too.
Is it a big gesture? Large rose bouquets on this page can go out the same day too, but a bouquet of 100 roses is heavy and needs a person to receive it. Choose a window when you know someone will be there.
Not sure of their taste? Soft pinks and whites are hard to get wrong. Red says romance, and yellow says cheer.

Missed the 1 pm cutoff?
It happens. Here are your best options.
Schedule the flowers for tomorrow and choose the morning window. A card that says "This should have arrived yesterday, and you deserve it twice" lands better than you would think. Honesty is charming.
You can also order now for any future date at checkout. For the big days, ordering ahead is the smart move: Valentine's Day on February 14 and Mother's Day, which falls on the second Sunday in May in Canada, are when florists everywhere are at their busiest.
If you have a question before ordering, call us on (437) 291-5605. Phones are answered Monday to Friday 9:30 am to 6:30 pm, Saturday 9:30 am to 6 pm and Sunday 10:30 am to 3:30 pm.
What to put in the delivery notes
A good note is the difference between flowers at the door and flowers on a return trip.
- 01
Recipient's phone number
The single most useful detail. If the buzzer does not work or nobody answers, a phone number usually solves it in a minute.
- 02
Condos and apartments
Unit number, buzzer code and whether there is a concierge desk. If the building name differs from the street address, include both.
- 03
Offices
Company name, floor and suite, and a contact at reception. Add the hours someone is there to receive deliveries.
- 04
Hospitals
The patient's full name, ward and room number. Check first that the ward allows fresh flowers, as many intensive care units do not.
- 05
Houses
Mention a side door, a back entrance or a gate code, and which door people actually answer.
- 06
Surprises
If it is a surprise, add your own phone number too, so any questions can come to you rather than the recipient.
