The design
About Black Tie
No fillers, no toppers, no extras. This 100 roses bouquet is one hundred premium red roses built into a wide, full dome, with black wrapping folded in soft ruffled layers all the way round. Against the black, the red looks deeper still. A red ribbon ties it at the stems, and it is big enough to fill your arms.
Black Tie is the grand gesture done plainly: a Valentine's Day that needs to land, or an anniversary that deserves more than the usual dozen. It suits the person who likes classic things done properly and has never once asked for glitter.
There is one size, $410, and it arrives as a wrapped bouquet. We build it by hand in our Oak Ridges studio from that day's roses. Delivery runs seven days a week across York Region and Toronto. Order by 1 pm for same-day delivery to most postal codes.

Care guide
How to care for Black Tie
Five small habits that add days to any bouquet, then the tips that matter for these flowers.
Into water, fast
Unwrap it and get the stems into water as soon as it arrives. The wrap looks lovely, but stems cannot drink through paper.
A fresh cut
Trim about 2 cm off each stem at an angle with sharp scissors or a knife. A clean, slanted cut gives them more room to drink.
Clean vase, cool water
Fill a clean vase with cool water and stir in the flower food if there is a sachet. Strip any leaves that would sit below the waterline.
Every two days
Change the water and give the stems a small trim. Cloudy water is the quickest way to shorten a bouquet's life.
Choose the spot
Keep it away from direct sun, heaters, drafts and the fruit bowl. Ripening fruit gives off ethylene, a gas that ages flowers faster.
Flower by flower
Roses
Keep every leaf above the waterline. If a head starts to droop, recut the stem and stand it in a few centimetres of warm water for an hour.
For this design
- A hundred roses add up to a heavy bouquet, so carry it from underneath and have a tall, sturdy vase ready.
- Remove the black wrap before the roses go into water; it is there for the arrival, not the vase.

Arrived damaged, or not what you ordered? Tell us within 24 hours with your order number and a photo. We replace the flowers at no charge or refund you in full.
If a stem is not at its best on the day, it does not go in. We use one of equal or higher value in the same colours, so the look and size stay the same.
Change or cancel free of charge until we start making it. Once the flowers are prepared or delivered, they are perishable and cannot be returned or refunded.
Please check the address and the recipient's phone number. We cannot refund an order sent to a wrong address or one nobody was there to receive.
Full details in our returns and refunds policy.
Is Black Tie very large?
Yes. One hundred roses make a wide, full dome that fills your arms. We do not list exact measurements, but plan for a tall, sturdy vase with a wide opening, or split the roses between two vases once the wrap comes off.
Are there any other flowers in Black Tie?
No. It is one hundred premium red roses and nothing else, wrapped in ruffled black with a red ribbon. If a rose is not at its best on the day, we swap it for one of equal or higher value in the same red.
Can you deliver 100 roses in Toronto?
Yes. We deliver across Toronto and York Region seven days a week. Delivery is priced by driving distance from our Richmond Hill studio. Order by 1 pm for same-day delivery to most postal codes.
Can Black Tie be delivered today?
Yes, to most postal codes in York Region and Toronto when you order by 1 pm. Pick today on this page or at checkout; we confirm it against the postal code before you pay.
Can I add a gift message?
Yes, and it is free. Write it on this page or at checkout and we tuck the card in with the flowers. Prices are never included with a delivery.
What if it arrives damaged or the order is wrong?
Contact us within 24 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos. After a quick review we send a replacement of equal value at no charge, or refund you in full to your original payment method.
Can I return or exchange it?
Fresh flowers are perishable, so we cannot accept returns or exchanges except when the order arrived damaged or was the wrong order. We also cannot refund an order sent to an incorrect address, one the recipient was not available to receive, or one you change your mind about after it has been prepared.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Yes, free of charge until we start preparing it. Call (437) 291-5605 or email support@larisflorist.com as early as you can, especially for same-day orders. Once the flowers have been prepared or delivered, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded.
