The design
About Peony Nest
Nothing here distracts from the flowers. This peony and hydrangea bouquet sets peonies deep into soft white hydrangea and wraps them in plain paper. The photos show two versions: deep red peonies in white paper, and blush and white peonies with pink accents in a peach wrap. Colours follow what is fresh.
Give it to the person who loves peonies and would happily have more of them. Ten makes a lovely hello; fifty makes a whole room feel like June. It suits a birthday, a thank you, or simply the week peonies come in and you cannot help yourself.
Choose your size: 10 peonies with hydrangeas for $130, 25 peonies with hydrangeas and filler flowers for $240, or a bigger bunch of 40 peonies for $395 or 50 for $505. Each arrives as a wrapped bouquet, made by hand in our Oak Ridges studio from that day's flowers. If you order by 1 pm, it can usually be delivered the same day to most postal codes across Richmond Hill, Toronto and York Region.

Care guide
How to care for Peony Nest
Five small habits that add days to any bouquet, then the tips that matter for these flowers.
Into water, fast
Unwrap it and get the stems into water as soon as it arrives. The wrap looks lovely, but stems cannot drink through paper.
A fresh cut
Trim about 2 cm off each stem at an angle with sharp scissors or a knife. A clean, slanted cut gives them more room to drink.
Clean vase, cool water
Fill a clean vase with cool water and stir in the flower food if there is a sachet. Strip any leaves that would sit below the waterline.
Every two days
Change the water and give the stems a small trim. Cloudy water is the quickest way to shorten a bouquet's life.
Choose the spot
Keep it away from direct sun, heaters, drafts and the fruit bowl. Ripening fruit gives off ethylene, a gas that ages flowers faster.
Flower by flower
Peonies
Closed buds open in a day or two in room-temperature water. Want them to wait for the weekend? Keep the vase somewhere cool.
Hydrangeas
Hydrangeas drink through their petals as well as their stems. If a head wilts, recut it and sink the whole head in cool water for 30 to 60 minutes.
For this design
- The plain paper wrap is only there to carry the flowers, so take it off before they go into a vase. The larger sizes need a wide, heavy vase so the hydrangea has room.
A note for pet homes
The peonies and hydrangeas here can upset cats and dogs if eaten. If they have a pet, say so in your order notes and we will design around it.

Arrived damaged, or not what you ordered? Tell us within 24 hours with your order number and a photo. We replace the flowers at no charge or refund you in full.
If a stem is not at its best on the day, it does not go in. We use one of equal or higher value in the same colours, so the look and size stay the same.
Change or cancel free of charge until we start making it. Once the flowers are prepared or delivered, they are perishable and cannot be returned or refunded.
Please check the address and the recipient's phone number. We cannot refund an order sent to a wrong address or one nobody was there to receive.

Which size of Peony Nest should I choose?
Ten peonies with hydrangeas ($130) is a generous hello. Twenty-five with hydrangeas and filler flowers ($240) fills a table. Forty ($395) or fifty ($505) is the big statement, for a milestone or the person who has always wanted an armful.
What colour will my Peony Nest be?
Colours follow what is fresh, so we work from the day's peonies. Our photos show deep red peonies with white hydrangea in white paper, and blush and white peonies with pink accents in a peach wrap.
Are peonies available all year?
Peonies are a seasonal flower, at their natural peak in late spring and early summer, which is why the colours in Peony Nest follow what is fresh. When a stem is not at its best, we use one of equal or higher value instead, keeping the look and size.
Can Peony Nest be delivered today?
Yes, to most postal codes in York Region and Toronto when you order by 1 pm. Pick today on this page or at checkout; we confirm it against the postal code before you pay.
Can I add a gift message?
Yes, and it is free. Write it on this page or at checkout and we tuck the card in with the flowers. Prices are never included with a delivery.
What if it arrives damaged or the order is wrong?
Contact us within 24 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos. After a quick review we send a replacement of equal value at no charge, or refund you in full to your original payment method.
Can I return or exchange it?
Fresh flowers are perishable, so we cannot accept returns or exchanges except when the order arrived damaged or was the wrong order. We also cannot refund an order sent to an incorrect address, one the recipient was not available to receive, or one you change your mind about after it has been prepared.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Yes, free of charge until we start preparing it. Call (437) 291-5605 or email support@larisflorist.com as early as you can, especially for same-day orders. Once the flowers have been prepared or delivered, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded.
