The design
About Sage and Stock
Ten stems of white stock flowers make up this quiet bouquet, each spike full and ruffled from top to bottom, with fresh green leaves tucked through. Crisp white paper sits inside a sage green outer layer, and a clear iridescent ribbon ties the stems. The whole thing stays cool, green and white, with nothing competing for attention.
It is a gentle choice for a get well soon visit, when bright colours might feel like too much. It is also right for a funeral or a sympathy gift when you want something simple and sincere. Understated is often exactly what the moment needs, and stocks are known for a soft, spicy scent that fills a room without any fanfare.
At $75, it arrives as a wrapped bouquet, and your gift message goes in with it. We deliver across Richmond Hill, York Region and Toronto seven days a week. Order by 1 pm for same-day delivery to most postal codes, or pick a future date at checkout.

Care guide
How to care for Sage and Stock
Five small habits that add days to any bouquet, then the tips that matter for these flowers.
Into water, fast
Unwrap it and get the stems into water as soon as it arrives. The wrap looks lovely, but stems cannot drink through paper.
A fresh cut
Trim about 2 cm off each stem at an angle with sharp scissors or a knife. A clean, slanted cut gives them more room to drink.
Clean vase, cool water
Fill a clean vase with cool water and stir in the flower food if there is a sachet. Strip any leaves that would sit below the waterline.
Every two days
Change the water and give the stems a small trim. Cloudy water is the quickest way to shorten a bouquet's life.
Choose the spot
Keep it away from direct sun, heaters, drafts and the fruit bowl. Ripening fruit gives off ethylene, a gas that ages flowers faster.
Flower by flower
Stock
Stock stems soften in water, so change it often and recut a little each time to keep the scent fresh.
For this design
- Slide the sage green and white papers down and away from the stems rather than pulling them up over the flowers, so the ruffled spikes do not snag.
Freshness

What are stock flowers?
Stock is a cottage garden flower that grows in tall spikes packed with small ruffled blooms, and it is known for a sweet, clove-like scent. In Sage and Stock we use ten white stems with fresh green leaves for a clean, calm look.
Is Sage and Stock suitable for a funeral?
Yes. White stocks in white and sage green wrap feel simple and respectful, which suits a funeral or a sympathy gift when you would rather not send anything showy. You can add a short gift message at checkout to go with the flowers.
Is a white stock bouquet good for someone who is unwell?
It is one of our gentler options. The colours are soft and ten stems are easy to manage in a small room. If the person has a cat or dog at home, mention it in the order notes and we will design around it.
Can Sage and Stock be delivered today?
Yes, to most postal codes in York Region and Toronto when you order by 1 pm. Pick today on this page or at checkout; we confirm it against the postal code before you pay.
Can I add a gift message?
Yes, and it is free. Write it on this page or at checkout and we tuck the card in with the flowers. Prices are never included with a delivery.
What if it arrives damaged or the order is wrong?
Contact us within 24 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos. After a quick review we send a replacement of equal value at no charge, or refund you in full to your original payment method.
Can I return or exchange it?
Fresh flowers are perishable, so we cannot accept returns or exchanges except when the order arrived damaged or was the wrong order. We also cannot refund an order sent to an incorrect address, one the recipient was not available to receive, or one you change your mind about after it has been prepared.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Yes, free of charge until we start preparing it. Call (437) 291-5605 or email support@larisflorist.com as early as you can, especially for same-day orders. Once the flowers have been prepared or delivered, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded.
