The design
About Cap and Pearls
A graduation bouquet with all the trimmings. Ten to twelve roses in soft pink sit in pink paper, with a printed Congratulations banner rising behind them in gold lettering and tiny pearls dotted across the paper. A strand of pearls loops around the roses and small pink bows dot the edges. In the photos it is topped with a little graduation cap, with a rolled scroll or a pink butterfly beside it.
Made for graduation day, be it high school, college or university. Hand it over after the ceremony and it will show up in every photo, gown and all. It is a sweet, manageable size for a graduate to carry around all afternoon between hugs and group shots.
Cap and Pearls comes in one size, $90, as a wrapped bouquet. The banner is printed with Congratulations, so there is no custom text to choose, but you can add a gift message that we tuck in with the flowers. Pick a future date and a morning or afternoon window at checkout, or order by 1 pm for same-day delivery to most postal codes.

Care guide
How to care for Cap and Pearls
Five small habits that add days to any bouquet, then the tips that matter for these flowers.
Into water, fast
Unwrap it and get the stems into water as soon as it arrives. The wrap looks lovely, but stems cannot drink through paper.
A fresh cut
Trim about 2 cm off each stem at an angle with sharp scissors or a knife. A clean, slanted cut gives them more room to drink.
Clean vase, cool water
Fill a clean vase with cool water and stir in the flower food if there is a sachet. Strip any leaves that would sit below the waterline.
Every two days
Change the water and give the stems a small trim. Cloudy water is the quickest way to shorten a bouquet's life.
Choose the spot
Keep it away from direct sun, heaters, drafts and the fruit bowl. Ripening fruit gives off ethylene, a gas that ages flowers faster.
Flower by flower
Roses
Keep every leaf above the waterline. If a head starts to droop, recut the stem and stand it in a few centimetres of warm water for an hour.
For this design
- The banner, cap and pearl strand are decorations, so keep them dry and lift the bouquet by its wrapped stems rather than by the banner.
- Once the roses go into a vase, the little cap and banner make a nice keepsake for the graduation shelf.

Arrived damaged, or not what you ordered? Tell us within 24 hours with your order number and a photo. We replace the flowers at no charge or refund you in full.
If a stem is not at its best on the day, it does not go in. We use one of equal or higher value in the same colours, so the look and size stay the same.
Change or cancel free of charge until we start making it. Once the flowers are prepared or delivered, they are perishable and cannot be returned or refunded.
Please check the address and the recipient's phone number. We cannot refund an order sent to a wrong address or one nobody was there to receive.

Can I change the text on the graduation banner?
This design uses a printed Congratulations banner, so the wording is fixed. You can still add your own words in a gift message at checkout, which we tuck in with the flowers. Prices are never included in the delivery.
How many roses are in Cap and Pearls?
