The design
About Macaron
Twenty-five white roses mixed through with spray roses in peach, blush, pink and lavender give this 25 roses bouquet a soft, full look, crowded with little blooms. It is wrapped in pink and lilac layers, with a pale pink ribbon running across the top. In the photo a tiny yellow heart sits on the ribbon.
Think of a box of pastel macarons and you have the colour story. It is for the person who would choose blush over scarlet every time: a proposal that should feel tender, an anniversary, a birthday, or Valentine's Day for someone who finds red too loud. Pretty from every side, and gentle rather than showy.
One size, $150. Each one is made by hand in our Oak Ridges studio from that day's flowers and arrives as a wrapped bouquet. Spray rose colours vary with the season; if one is not at its best, we swap it for a stem of equal or higher value in the same pastel shades. Get your order in by 1 pm and it can arrive the same day at most postal codes in Richmond Hill, York Region and Toronto.

Care guide
How to care for Macaron
Five small habits that add days to any bouquet, then the tips that matter for these flowers.
Into water, fast
Unwrap it and get the stems into water as soon as it arrives. The wrap looks lovely, but stems cannot drink through paper.
A fresh cut
Trim about 2 cm off each stem at an angle with sharp scissors or a knife. A clean, slanted cut gives them more room to drink.
Clean vase, cool water
Fill a clean vase with cool water and stir in the flower food if there is a sachet. Strip any leaves that would sit below the waterline.
Every two days
Change the water and give the stems a small trim. Cloudy water is the quickest way to shorten a bouquet's life.
Choose the spot
Keep it away from direct sun, heaters, drafts and the fruit bowl. Ripening fruit gives off ethylene, a gas that ages flowers faster.
Flower by flower
Roses
Keep every leaf above the waterline. If a head starts to droop, recut the stem and stand it in a few centimetres of warm water for an hour.
Spray roses
Snip off each small bloom as it fades so the buds below it have the water to open.
For this design
- The pale pink ribbon lies across the top of the roses; slip it off before you recut the stems.

What are spray roses?
Spray roses carry several small blooms on one stem instead of a single large head. In Macaron they come in peach, blush, pink and lavender, mixed through 25 white roses, which is what gives the bouquet its full, crowded look.
Is Macaron a good proposal bouquet?
It is a lovely one if they prefer soft colours to bold red. White roses are traditionally tied to new beginnings, and the pastel spray roses keep it tender. A gift message can be added at checkout, and we tuck it in with the roses.
How many white roses are in Macaron?
Twenty-five white roses, with peach, blush, pink and lavender spray roses mixed through them. It is wrapped in pink and lilac layers with a pale pink ribbon, and comes in one size at $150.
