About Violet Cerise
Bright cerise roses, wide open and full, lead this mixed flower bouquet, with spires of purple stock rising between them and little puffs of white filler. A few sprigs of glossy green leaves break up the colour. It is wrapped in warm latte-toned paper with a sheer cream layer, which lets the pink and purple really pop, and tied with a pale lilac ribbon.
This is the bouquet for someone who prefers colour with some punch. It suits Mother's Day, an anniversary or a birthday, and it is a cheerful way to welcome a new baby or send a get well wish. Stock is usually fragrant too, with a spicy-sweet scent, so it is as nice to stand next to as it is to look at.
Violet Cerise is $150, made with premium roses and delivered as a wrapped bouquet with your gift message tucked in. Flowers are seasonal, so if a stem is not at its best on the day, we swap it for one of equal or higher value in the same colours, keeping the look and size.

Care guide
How to care for Violet Cerise
Five small habits that add days to any bouquet, then the tips that matter for these flowers.
Into water, fast
Unwrap it and get the stems into water as soon as it arrives. The wrap looks lovely, but stems cannot drink through paper.
A fresh cut
Trim about 2 cm off each stem at an angle with sharp scissors or a knife. A clean, slanted cut gives them more room to drink.
Clean vase, cool water
Fill a clean vase with cool water and stir in the flower food if there is a sachet. Strip any leaves that would sit below the waterline.
Every two days
Change the water and give the stems a small trim. Cloudy water is the quickest way to shorten a bouquet's life.
Choose the spot
Keep it away from direct sun, heaters, drafts and the fruit bowl. Ripening fruit gives off ethylene, a gas that ages flowers faster.
Flower by flower
Roses
Keep every leaf above the waterline. If a head starts to droop, recut the stem and stand it in a few centimetres of warm water for an hour.
Stock
Stock stems soften in water, so change it often and recut a little each time to keep the scent fresh.
For this design
- The latte-toned paper and sheer cream layer come off together; slide them down from the top so the stock spires do not catch.

What flowers are in Violet Cerise?
Premium cerise roses, wide open and full, with spires of purple stock, little puffs of white filler and a few sprigs of glossy green leaves. It is wrapped in latte-toned paper with a sheer cream layer and tied with a pale lilac ribbon.
Is Violet Cerise a good new baby bouquet?
It is a cheerful one. The cerise and purple feel celebratory without leaning on baby pink or baby blue, so it is easy to send whatever the details. It also works for Mother's Day, a get well wish or a birthday.
What colour is cerise?
Cerise is a vivid, cherry-tinged pink, brighter and bolder than blush. In this bouquet the cerise roses sit against purple stock and a warm latte-toned wrap, so the colour reads strong and happy rather than sweet.
