The design
About Strawberry Lace
Fifty stems go into this red and pink roses bouquet, mixed evenly so neither colour takes over. Sprigs of baby's breath are scattered between the heads like little bits of lace. The wrap is pale pink and white with a scalloped edge, each curve traced in a fine grey line in our studio photo, and the stems are tied with ribbon.
Red and pink together feel a little playful, a nice change from all red. It is a good pick when the feelings are serious but the mood is light, or for a birthday where you want romance with a wink. It works for an anniversary or Valentine's Day too, especially for someone whose favourite fruit is the one in the name.
Strawberry Lace is a single size at $185, wrapped, with your gift message tucked in. We design it by hand in our Oak Ridges studio from that day's roses. When the order is in by 1 pm, same-day delivery covers most postal codes in Richmond Hill, York Region and Toronto.

Care guide
How to care for Strawberry Lace
Five small habits that add days to any bouquet, then the tips that matter for these flowers.
Into water, fast
Unwrap it and get the stems into water as soon as it arrives. The wrap looks lovely, but stems cannot drink through paper.
A fresh cut
Trim about 2 cm off each stem at an angle with sharp scissors or a knife. A clean, slanted cut gives them more room to drink.
Clean vase, cool water
Fill a clean vase with cool water and stir in the flower food if there is a sachet. Strip any leaves that would sit below the waterline.
Every two days
Change the water and give the stems a small trim. Cloudy water is the quickest way to shorten a bouquet's life.
Choose the spot
Keep it away from direct sun, heaters, drafts and the fruit bowl. Ripening fruit gives off ethylene, a gas that ages flowers faster.
Flower by flower
Roses
Keep every leaf above the waterline. If a head starts to droop, recut the stem and stand it in a few centimetres of warm water for an hour.
Baby's breath
It dries beautifully. When the rest of the bouquet is done, hang a few stems upside down somewhere dark and dry for a keepsake.
For this design
- The scalloped wrap is part of the look, so leave it on for the first viewing and slide it off from the stem end when you move the roses to a vase.
A note for pet homes
The baby's breath here can upset cats and dogs if eaten. If they have a pet, say so in your order notes and we will design around it.
Freshness

Please check the address and the recipient's phone number. We cannot refund an order sent to a wrong address or one nobody was there to receive.

How many red and pink roses are in Strawberry Lace?
Fifty roses in total, red and soft pink mixed evenly so neither colour dominates. Sprigs of baby's breath sit between them, and the bouquet is wrapped in pale pink and white paper with a scalloped edge.
Why choose red and pink instead of all red?
All red is the classic statement. Mixing in soft pink keeps the romance but makes the bouquet feel brighter and more playful, which suits birthdays and newer relationships as well as anniversaries and Valentine's Day.
Can Strawberry Lace be delivered the same day in Toronto?
Yes, for most postal codes if you order by 1 pm. Delivery is priced by driving distance from $12. You can also choose a future date at checkout.
Can I add a gift message?
Yes, and it is free. Write it on this page or at checkout and we tuck the card in with the flowers. Prices are never included with a delivery.
What if it arrives damaged or the order is wrong?
Contact us within 24 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos. After a quick review we send a replacement of equal value at no charge, or refund you in full to your original payment method.
Can I return or exchange it?
Fresh flowers are perishable, so we cannot accept returns or exchanges except when the order arrived damaged or was the wrong order. We also cannot refund an order sent to an incorrect address, one the recipient was not available to receive, or one you change your mind about after it has been prepared.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Yes, free of charge until we start preparing it. Call (437) 291-5605 or email support@larisflorist.com as early as you can, especially for same-day orders. Once the flowers have been prepared or delivered, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded.
