The design
About Heartlight
Premium roses are shaped into a full rose heart, shown here in soft pink. A frill of pleated sheer mesh runs around the edge with tiny LED lights tucked into it, so the whole outline glows once they are on. It is finished with wrapping and ribbon.
There is no mistaking what this one means. Send it for Valentine's Day, an anniversary or a birthday, and especially if it will be opened in the evening, when the lights do most of the talking. It suits the person who keeps every card you have ever given them in a shoebox under the bed.
Choose pink, red or white roses when you order; it comes in one size at $140. We shape each heart by hand in our Oak Ridges studio from that day's flowers and deliver seven days a week. Add a gift message and we tuck it in with the roses. Same-day delivery covers most postal codes in Richmond Hill, York Region and Toronto if you order by 1 pm.

How to care for Heartlight
Five small habits that add days to any bouquet, then the tips that matter for these flowers.
Into water, fast
Unwrap it and get the stems into water as soon as it arrives. The wrap looks lovely, but stems cannot drink through paper.
A fresh cut
Trim about 2 cm off each stem at an angle with sharp scissors or a knife. A clean, slanted cut gives them more room to drink.
Clean vase, cool water
Fill a clean vase with cool water and stir in the flower food if there is a sachet. Strip any leaves that would sit below the waterline.
Every two days
Change the water and give the stems a small trim. Cloudy water is the quickest way to shorten a bouquet's life.
Choose the spot
Keep it away from direct sun, heaters, drafts and the fruit bowl. Ripening fruit gives off ethylene, a gas that ages flowers faster.
Flower by flower
Roses
Keep every leaf above the waterline. If a head starts to droop, recut the stem and stand it in a few centimetres of warm water for an hour.

- Keep the LED lights and their wiring away from water when you move the roses into a vase, and switch them off when no one is around to enjoy them.
- Hold the bouquet from underneath so the heart keeps its outline.

Arrived damaged, or not what you ordered? Tell us within 24 hours with your order number and a photo. We replace the flowers at no charge or refund you in full.
If a stem is not at its best on the day, it does not go in. We use one of equal or higher value in the same colours, so the look and size stay the same.
Change or cancel free of charge until we start making it. Once the flowers are prepared or delivered, they are perishable and cannot be returned or refunded.
Please check the address and the recipient's phone number. We cannot refund an order sent to a wrong address or one nobody was there to receive.

Can I choose the rose colour for Heartlight?
Yes. Choose pink, red or white roses when you order. The photos show soft pink. Whichever colour you pick, the roses are shaped into a full heart with a pleated sheer mesh frill and tiny LED lights around the edge, finished with wrapping and ribbon.

What if it arrives damaged or the order is wrong?
Contact us within 24 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos. After a quick review we send a replacement of equal value at no charge, or refund you in full to your original payment method.
Can I return or exchange it?
Fresh flowers are perishable, so we cannot accept returns or exchanges except when the order arrived damaged or was the wrong order. We also cannot refund an order sent to an incorrect address, one the recipient was not available to receive, or one you change your mind about after it has been prepared.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Yes, free of charge until we start preparing it. Call (437) 291-5605 or email support@larisflorist.com as early as you can, especially for same-day orders. Once the flowers have been prepared or delivered, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded.
