About Tulip Lanterns
This bouquet with lights holds fifty tulips in a mixed bunch, shown here in pink and white, with their own green leaves standing up between the cups. Tiny LED lights are threaded through a sheer, crinkled mesh around the edge, so the bouquet glows softly once the room gets dark. Layers of cream and pink paper and a ribbon with pearl trim finish the wrap.
Fifty tulips is a lot of spring for one pair of arms. It is a bright gift for a birthday or an anniversary, and the lights make it feel like an occasion even on a quiet weeknight. On a dining table after dinner, it glows through the mesh like a row of paper lanterns.

How to care for Tulip Lanterns
Five small habits that add days to any bouquet, then the tips that matter for these flowers.
Into water, fast
Unwrap it and get the stems into water as soon as it arrives. The wrap looks lovely, but stems cannot drink through paper.
A fresh cut
Trim about 2 cm off each stem at an angle with sharp scissors or a knife. A clean, slanted cut gives them more room to drink.
Clean vase, cool water
Fill a clean vase with cool water and stir in the flower food if there is a sachet. Strip any leaves that would sit below the waterline.
Every two days
Change the water and give the stems a small trim. Cloudy water is the quickest way to shorten a bouquet's life.
Choose the spot
Keep it away from direct sun, heaters, drafts and the fruit bowl. Ripening fruit gives off ethylene, a gas that ages flowers faster.

Tulips
Use a tall vase with only a few centimetres of cool water, and turn it every day so they stand straight instead of chasing the window.

- Keep the LED light string dry. Ease it out of the mesh edge before you move the tulips to a vase, and slip off the pearl-trim ribbon if you would like to keep it.
A note for pet homes
The tulips here can upset cats and dogs if eaten. If they have a pet, say so in your order notes and we will design around it.

Arrived damaged, or not what you ordered? Tell us within 24 hours with your order number and a photo. We replace the flowers at no charge or refund you in full.
If a stem is not at its best on the day, it does not go in. We use one of equal or higher value in the same colours, so the look and size stay the same.
Change or cancel free of charge until we start making it. Once the flowers are prepared or delivered, they are perishable and cannot be returned or refunded.
Please check the address and the recipient's phone number. We cannot refund an order sent to a wrong address or one nobody was there to receive.

No. Tulips are seasonal, so this design is not always on offer. Call us on (437) 291-5605 to check availability before you order. When tulips are in season, we make it by hand in our Oak Ridges studio from that day's flowers.

Both are tulip bouquets with tiny LED lights. Tulip Lanterns is the larger, seasonal one at $175, with fifty tulips, a crinkled mesh edge and a pearl-trim ribbon. Tulip Glow is $140, with mixed tulips in a sheer ruffled collar and soft peach wrap.
Can Tulip Lanterns be delivered today?
Yes, to most postal codes in York Region and Toronto when you order by 1 pm. Pick today on this page or at checkout; we confirm it against the postal code before you pay.
Can I add a gift message?
Yes, and it is free. Write it on this page or at checkout and we tuck the card in with the flowers. Prices are never included with a delivery.
What if it arrives damaged or the order is wrong?
Contact us within 24 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos. After a quick review we send a replacement of equal value at no charge, or refund you in full to your original payment method.
Can I return or exchange it?
Fresh flowers are perishable, so we cannot accept returns or exchanges except when the order arrived damaged or was the wrong order. We also cannot refund an order sent to an incorrect address, one the recipient was not available to receive, or one you change your mind about after it has been prepared.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Yes, free of charge until we start preparing it. Call (437) 291-5605 or email support@larisflorist.com as early as you can, especially for same-day orders. Once the flowers have been prepared or delivered, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded.
