The design
About Rose Ladder
Every rose gets its own spot in this dozen roses bouquet. We lay twelve stems out in a flat, front-facing wrap so each head shows, and the blooms climb the paper like rungs on a little ladder. Filler is tucked between them, and a satin ribbon finishes the stems. Our photos show red roses in two wrap styles: peach paper with clear wing-shaped panels, and pink paper with a gold edge. In the studio shot, a gold butterfly perches near the top.
It is the bouquet for someone who likes a classic done neatly. It fits a birthday where you want roses without fuss, an anniversary dinner, or a plain Tuesday that could use a lift. Because every rose faces forward, it looks just as good in a photo as it does in someone's arms.
Rose Ladder is $75. Choose red, pink or white roses when you order. The filler and wrap change with what is in the studio that day, so yours may differ a little from the photos. It arrives as a wrapped bouquet with your gift message tucked in.

A dozen roses is the traditional romantic gesture. Red usually says love, pink leans toward admiration and thanks, and white is often read as respect and new beginnings.

Care guide
How to care for Rose Ladder
Five small habits that add days to any bouquet, then the tips that matter for these flowers.
Into water, fast
Unwrap it and get the stems into water as soon as it arrives. The wrap looks lovely, but stems cannot drink through paper.
A fresh cut
Trim about 2 cm off each stem at an angle with sharp scissors or a knife. A clean, slanted cut gives them more room to drink.
Clean vase, cool water
Fill a clean vase with cool water and stir in the flower food if there is a sachet. Strip any leaves that would sit below the waterline.
Every two days
Change the water and give the stems a small trim. Cloudy water is the quickest way to shorten a bouquet's life.
Choose the spot
Keep it away from direct sun, heaters, drafts and the fruit bowl. Ripening fruit gives off ethylene, a gas that ages flowers faster.
Flower by flower
Roses
Keep every leaf above the waterline. If a head starts to droop, recut the stem and stand it in a few centimetres of warm water for an hour.
Baby's breath
It dries beautifully. When the rest of the bouquet is done, hang a few stems upside down somewhere dark and dry for a keepsake.
Carnations
Recut just above one of the small joints on the stem, where they drink best.
For this design
- The roses are laid out to face forward, so unwrap from the stem end and keep the bunch flat in your hand until it is in the vase; that way the ladder layout stays put.
A note for pet homes
The baby's breath and carnations here can upset cats and dogs if eaten. If they have a pet, say so in your order notes and we will design around it.

If a stem is not at its best on the day, it does not go in. We use one of equal or higher value in the same colours, so the look and size stay the same.
Change or cancel free of charge until we start making it. Once the flowers are prepared or delivered, they are perishable and cannot be returned or refunded.
Please check the address and the recipient's phone number. We cannot refund an order sent to a wrong address or one nobody was there to receive.

How many roses are in Rose Ladder?
Twelve. A dozen roses are laid out flat and facing forward, with filler tucked between them and a satin ribbon at the stems. You choose red, pink or white roses when you order, and the layout stays the same.
Can I get Rose Ladder in pink or white instead of red?
Yes. Red, pink and white are all options at checkout. The photos show red, but the flat layout, filler and ribbon finish are the same whichever colour you pick. The wrap may change with what we have in the studio that day.
What does a flat wrap mean?
Instead of gathering the roses into a round dome, we fan them out facing forward, so every head is visible from the front. It reads a bit like a ladder of blooms, which is where the name comes from.
Can a dozen roses arrive the same day?
Usually, yes. Order by 1 pm and we deliver the same day to most postal codes in Richmond Hill, York Region and Toronto. You can choose an anytime, morning or afternoon window, or pick a future date at checkout.
Can I add a gift message?
Yes, and it is free. Write it on this page or at checkout and we tuck the card in with the flowers. Prices are never included with a delivery.
What if it arrives damaged or the order is wrong?
Contact us within 24 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos. After a quick review we send a replacement of equal value at no charge, or refund you in full to your original payment method.
Can I return or exchange it?
Fresh flowers are perishable, so we cannot accept returns or exchanges except when the order arrived damaged or was the wrong order. We also cannot refund an order sent to an incorrect address, one the recipient was not available to receive, or one you change your mind about after it has been prepared.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Yes, free of charge until we start preparing it. Call (437) 291-5605 or email support@larisflorist.com as early as you can, especially for same-day orders. Once the flowers have been prepared or delivered, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded.
