The design
About Tulip Glow
One wide-open pink tulip sits near the top of this pink tulip bouquet like a little crown, surrounded by pink and white tulips packed close together. A string of tiny LED lights is threaded through the sheer ruffled collar, so the whole bouquet glows from inside the soft peach wrap. Pink ribbon ties it at the stems.
Hand it over in the evening, when the lights really show. It is made for a birthday, an anniversary or Mother's Day, and it suits the person who lights candles for no reason or keeps fairy lights up well past the holidays. In daylight it is a pretty pink bouquet; after dark it becomes the centre of the room.

How to care for Tulip Glow
Five small habits that add days to any bouquet, then the tips that matter for these flowers.
Into water, fast
Unwrap it and get the stems into water as soon as it arrives. The wrap looks lovely, but stems cannot drink through paper.
A fresh cut
Trim about 2 cm off each stem at an angle with sharp scissors or a knife. A clean, slanted cut gives them more room to drink.
Clean vase, cool water
Fill a clean vase with cool water and stir in the flower food if there is a sachet. Strip any leaves that would sit below the waterline.
Every two days
Change the water and give the stems a small trim. Cloudy water is the quickest way to shorten a bouquet's life.
Choose the spot
Keep it away from direct sun, heaters, drafts and the fruit bowl. Ripening fruit gives off ethylene, a gas that ages flowers faster.

Use a tall vase with only a few centimetres of cool water, and turn it every day so they stand straight instead of chasing the window.

- The LED lights live in the collar, not the water, so keep the light string dry: lift it out of the wrap before you move the tulips to a vase, then drape it around the outside if you like.
A note for pet homes
The tulips here can upset cats and dogs if eaten. If they have a pet, say so in your order notes and we will design around it.

Arrived damaged, or not what you ordered? Tell us within 24 hours with your order number and a photo. We replace the flowers at no charge or refund you in full.
If a stem is not at its best on the day, it does not go in. We use one of equal or higher value in the same colours, so the look and size stay the same.
Change or cancel free of charge until we start making it. Once the flowers are prepared or delivered, they are perishable and cannot be returned or refunded.
Please check the address and the recipient's phone number. We cannot refund an order sent to a wrong address or one nobody was there to receive.

How do the lights on Tulip Glow work?
A string of tiny LED lights is threaded through the sheer ruffled collar around the tulips, so the bouquet glows from inside its peach wrap. The effect is strongest in a dim room, which is why we suggest handing it over in the evening.
What colour are the tulips in Tulip Glow?
Our photos show a mix of pink and white, with one wide-open pink tulip near the top. The colours are mixed, so the balance of shades can change from one bouquet to the next, but the soft pink and peach feel carries through.
Can the LED lights go in water?
Best not. Keep the light string dry. When you are ready to put the tulips in a vase, lift the lights out of the collar first, then drape them around the vase or nearby so the bouquet still glows.
Can Tulip Glow be delivered today?
Yes, to most postal codes in York Region and Toronto when you order by 1 pm. Pick today on this page or at checkout; we confirm it against the postal code before you pay.
Can I add a gift message?
Yes, and it is free. Write it on this page or at checkout and we tuck the card in with the flowers. Prices are never included with a delivery.
What if it arrives damaged or the order is wrong?
Contact us within 24 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos. After a quick review we send a replacement of equal value at no charge, or refund you in full to your original payment method.
Can I return or exchange it?
Fresh flowers are perishable, so we cannot accept returns or exchanges except when the order arrived damaged or was the wrong order. We also cannot refund an order sent to an incorrect address, one the recipient was not available to receive, or one you change your mind about after it has been prepared.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Yes, free of charge until we start preparing it. Call (437) 291-5605 or email support@larisflorist.com as early as you can, especially for same-day orders. Once the flowers have been prepared or delivered, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded.
