The design
About Little Red Hatbox
A small, neat gift: premium red roses set snugly into a round black hat box, so this flower box looks finished from every side. A red satin ribbon wraps around the middle and ties in a bow, and the top is finished with either a gold butterfly or a fine strand of pearls draped across the blooms.
An easy, affordable way to send red roses for Valentine's Day or a birthday. It takes up very little room, so it suits a desk, a shelf or a bedside table. It is also the right size for a newer relationship, when fifty roses would feel like a lot, a little too soon.
One size, $75. It arrives arranged in the hat box and ready to display. We make each one by hand in our Oak Ridges studio from that day's flowers. Delivery starts at $12 and is priced by driving distance. Order by 1 pm for same-day delivery to most postal codes.

How to care for Little Red Hatbox
It arrives ready to set down. A minute a day keeps it looking its best.
Find a cool spot
Out of direct sun, away from heaters, drafts and the fruit bowl. Ripening fruit gives off ethylene, which ages flowers faster.
Top it up daily
Arrangements drink more than you would think, especially in the first few days. Check it every day and add cool, clean water.
Lift out what fades
Pull out any stem that wilts so the rest stay looking fresh and the water stays clean.
A second life
When it starts to tire, rescue the best stems: recut them and give them a small vase of their own.

Roses
Keep every leaf above the waterline. If a head starts to droop, recut the stem and stand it in a few centimetres of warm water for an hour.

- Keep the hat box somewhere cool and out of direct sun. When the display has had its moment, slip off the butterfly or pearls, then lift the roses out, recut them and put them in a vase.

Arrived damaged, or not what you ordered? Tell us within 24 hours with your order number and a photo. We replace the flowers at no charge or refund you in full.
If a stem is not at its best on the day, it does not go in. We use one of equal or higher value in the same colours, so the look and size stay the same.
Change or cancel free of charge until we start making it. Once the flowers are prepared or delivered, they are perishable and cannot be returned or refunded.
Please check the address and the recipient's phone number. We cannot refund an order sent to a wrong address or one nobody was there to receive.

Does Little Red Hatbox come with a butterfly or pearls?
One or the other. The roses are finished with either a gold butterfly or a fine strand of pearls draped across the blooms, as the photos show. Either way they sit in a round black hat box tied with a red satin ribbon and bow.

What if it arrives damaged or the order is wrong?
Contact us within 24 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos. After a quick review we send a replacement of equal value at no charge, or refund you in full to your original payment method.
Can I return or exchange it?
Fresh flowers are perishable, so we cannot accept returns or exchanges except when the order arrived damaged or was the wrong order. We also cannot refund an order sent to an incorrect address, one the recipient was not available to receive, or one you change your mind about after it has been prepared.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Yes, free of charge until we start preparing it. Call (437) 291-5605 or email support@larisflorist.com as early as you can, especially for same-day orders. Once the flowers have been prepared or delivered, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded.
