The design
About Lily Dedication
Fifty roses in creamy white and dusty pink fill the base of this lily and rose bouquet, and pale pink lilies rise out of the top, some open, some still in bud. A pink satin banner crosses the roses in gold lettering, with a little gold butterfly perched at one end. Two layers of wrap, peach paper and a soft white mesh, frame it all, and sheer ribbons hang below.
The banner is the reason to choose it. The one in the photos reads Best Mom, but it can carry whatever you need to say: a name, an inside joke, the question you are about to ask. It suits a birthday, Valentine's Day, an anniversary or a proposal.
One size: 50 roses with lilies, $235. The banner is required and there is no extra charge for it, so tell us the wording when you order. It arrives as a wrapped bouquet made by hand in our Oak Ridges studio. Lilies are toxic to cats; if there is a cat at home, put that in the order notes and we'll design around it. Order by 1 pm and we can deliver it the same day to most postal codes across Richmond Hill, York Region and Toronto.

Care guide
How to care for Lily Dedication
Five small habits that add days to any bouquet, then the tips that matter for these flowers.
Into water, fast
Unwrap it and get the stems into water as soon as it arrives. The wrap looks lovely, but stems cannot drink through paper.
A fresh cut
Trim about 2 cm off each stem at an angle with sharp scissors or a knife. A clean, slanted cut gives them more room to drink.
Clean vase, cool water
Fill a clean vase with cool water and stir in the flower food if there is a sachet. Strip any leaves that would sit below the waterline.
Every two days
Change the water and give the stems a small trim. Cloudy water is the quickest way to shorten a bouquet's life.
Choose the spot
Keep it away from direct sun, heaters, drafts and the fruit bowl. Ripening fruit gives off ethylene, a gas that ages flowers faster.
Flower by flower
Roses
Keep every leaf above the waterline. If a head starts to droop, recut the stem and stand it in a few centimetres of warm water for an hour.
Lilies
Pull off the orange pollen tips as each flower opens, with a tissue, to save petals and tablecloths from stains. Snip faded blooms so the buds keep coming.
For this design
- The satin banner and gold butterfly sit across the roses; lift them off before you recut the stems, and keep the banner as a keepsake once the flowers are done.
A note for pet homes
Lilies are highly toxic to cats, including the pollen and the vase water, so keep this one well away from them. If they have a pet, say so in your order notes and we will design around it.
Freshness

Change or cancel free of charge until we start making it. Once the flowers are prepared or delivered, they are perishable and cannot be returned or refunded.
Please check the address and the recipient's phone number. We cannot refund an order sent to a wrong address or one nobody was there to receive.

What can I write on the Lily Dedication banner?
Any short custom text, such as a name, Best Mom or Will you marry me. The banner is required and has no extra fee. Tell us the exact wording when you order and check the spelling, since it goes on in gold lettering across pink satin.
My mom has a cat. Should I choose a different bouquet?
It is worth telling us. Lilies are toxic to cats, including the pollen and the vase water, so we would not want them in a cat home. Mention the cat in the order notes and we will design around it.
How many roses are in Lily Dedication?
Fifty roses in creamy white and dusty pink, with pale pink lilies rising from the top, some open and some in bud. It comes in one size at $235, including the custom banner.
