The design
About Graduate's Letter
Red roses gathered into a round bouquet, with the graduate's initial set on top: these are graduation flowers that make it clear exactly who they are for. The main photo shows the same style with scales of justice picked out in baby's breath, wrapped in white paper with a red ribbon below; yours carries the initial you choose. Another version is wrapped in black with gold edges and a ring of baby's breath.
Diplomas get filed in a drawer. A bouquet with their letter on it gets photographed at the ceremony, at dinner afterwards and again when they get home. Send it to the nursing grad, the teenager who just finished high school, or the friend who finally passed the bar.
Choose 25 roses ($125), 50 roses ($210) or 100 roses ($410). The initial is required, so tell us the letter when you order; it is one letter, built into the design. It arrives as a wrapped bouquet, made by hand in our Oak Ridges studio. If it's needed today, order by 1 pm; same-day delivery covers most postal codes in Richmond Hill, York Region and Toronto.

How to care for Graduate's Letter
Five small habits that add days to any bouquet, then the tips that matter for these flowers.
Into water, fast
Unwrap it and get the stems into water as soon as it arrives. The wrap looks lovely, but stems cannot drink through paper.
A fresh cut
Trim about 2 cm off each stem at an angle with sharp scissors or a knife. A clean, slanted cut gives them more room to drink.
Clean vase, cool water
Fill a clean vase with cool water and stir in the flower food if there is a sachet. Strip any leaves that would sit below the waterline.
Every two days
Change the water and give the stems a small trim. Cloudy water is the quickest way to shorten a bouquet's life.
Choose the spot
Keep it away from direct sun, heaters, drafts and the fruit bowl. Ripening fruit gives off ethylene, a gas that ages flowers faster.
Flower by flower
Roses
Keep every leaf above the waterline. If a head starts to droop, recut the stem and stand it in a few centimetres of warm water for an hour.
Baby's breath
It dries beautifully. When the rest of the bouquet is done, hang a few stems upside down somewhere dark and dry for a keepsake.

A note for pet homes
The baby's breath here can upset cats and dogs if eaten. If they have a pet, say so in your order notes and we will design around it.

Arrived damaged, or not what you ordered? Tell us within 24 hours with your order number and a photo. We replace the flowers at no charge or refund you in full.
If a stem is not at its best on the day, it does not go in. We use one of equal or higher value in the same colours, so the look and size stay the same.
Change or cancel free of charge until we start making it. Once the flowers are prepared or delivered, they are perishable and cannot be returned or refunded.
Please check the address and the recipient's phone number. We cannot refund an order sent to a wrong address or one nobody was there to receive.

How many roses can I choose for a graduation bouquet?
Graduate's Letter comes with 25 roses for $125, 50 roses for $210 or 100 roses for $410. All three have the graduate's initial on top. The 25 is a lovely hand-held size for a ceremony; the 100 is the one that makes the family group photo.
Do I have to give an initial?
Yes. The initial is required for Graduate's Letter, since it is part of the design rather than an add-on. Add the one letter when you order, whether that is the graduate's first name or last name, and we build it into the bouquet before we start.

The initial you choose. It is one letter, it is required, and you add it when you order. The photo shows the same style of design with a different shape picked out in baby's breath, so you can see how the detail sits on the roses.
Can it arrive on convocation day?
Yes. We deliver seven days a week across York Region and Toronto, so pick the convocation date at checkout. A morning window gets it there before they head out. For same-day delivery, order by 1 pm for most postal codes.
Can Graduate's Letter be delivered today?

Can I add a gift message?
Yes, and it is free. Write it on this page or at checkout and we tuck the card in with the flowers. Prices are never included with a delivery.
What if it arrives damaged or the order is wrong?
Contact us within 24 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos. After a quick review we send a replacement of equal value at no charge, or refund you in full to your original payment method.
Can I return or exchange it?
Fresh flowers are perishable, so we cannot accept returns or exchanges except when the order arrived damaged or was the wrong order. We also cannot refund an order sent to an incorrect address, one the recipient was not available to receive, or one you change your mind about after it has been prepared.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Yes, free of charge until we start preparing it. Call (437) 291-5605 or email support@larisflorist.com as early as you can, especially for same-day orders. Once the flowers have been prepared or delivered, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded.
