About Mauve Pedestal
Roses in a cool mauve pink, deeper at the petal edges, sit in a glossy white pedestal vase. Feathery fern and broad green leaves fill in between the heads, giving these roses in a vase a soft, slightly wild outline rather than a tight dome. It is compact enough for a side table or a desk.
A good gift for an anniversary or Mother's Day, or for someone who simply loves roses and never buys them for themselves. The pedestal lifts the flowers just enough to feel a little special, the way a cake stand makes anything on it look like an occasion.
One size, $95. It comes arranged and ready to display, so there is nothing to do but find it a spot. We make it by hand in our Oak Ridges studio from that day's flowers; if a stem looks tired on the day, we swap it for one of equal or higher value in the same colours. Orders in by 1 pm can be delivered the same day to most postal codes.

How to care for Mauve Pedestal
It arrives ready to set down. A minute a day keeps it looking its best.
Find a cool spot
Out of direct sun, away from heaters, drafts and the fruit bowl. Ripening fruit gives off ethylene, which ages flowers faster.
Top it up daily
Arrangements drink more than you would think, especially in the first few days. Check it every day and add cool, clean water.
Lift out what fades
Pull out any stem that wilts so the rest stay looking fresh and the water stays clean.
A second life
When it starts to tire, rescue the best stems: recut them and give them a small vase of their own.

Keep every leaf above the waterline. If a head starts to droop, recut the stem and stand it in a few centimetres of warm water for an hour.

If a stem is not at its best on the day, it does not go in. We use one of equal or higher value in the same colours, so the look and size stay the same.
Change or cancel free of charge until we start making it. Once the flowers are prepared or delivered, they are perishable and cannot be returned or refunded.
Please check the address and the recipient's phone number. We cannot refund an order sent to a wrong address or one nobody was there to receive.

Fresh flowers are perishable, so we cannot accept returns or exchanges except when the order arrived damaged or was the wrong order. We also cannot refund an order sent to an incorrect address, one the recipient was not available to receive, or one you change your mind about after it has been prepared.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Yes, free of charge until we start preparing it. Call (437) 291-5605 or email support@larisflorist.com as early as you can, especially for same-day orders. Once the flowers have been prepared or delivered, the order cannot be cancelled or refunded.
