About Parlour Posy

Loose and garden-style rather than tight and formal, this flower arrangement in a vase arrives ready to set down. Fresh flowers and glossy greenery fill a pearly white vase. The one pictured leans pink: alstroemeria, daisy mums, bright carnations, small pink berries and a couple of white snapdragons standing tall at the back.

It is a kind, easy gift. Send it to your mum for Mother's Day, or to a friend recovering at home who would rather not go hunting for a vase. It brings colour to a kitchen table or a bedside without taking over the room, and it has that unfussy, just-gathered look.

There is one size, at $98, and it comes in its own vase, so all it needs is a spot on the table. We build each vase from what is freshest that day, so the flowers and shades will vary from the photo while keeping the same easy feel. It is made by hand in our Oak Ridges studio, with same-day delivery to most postal codes when you order by 1 pm, seven days a week.

What the flowers say
